Employer Workshops

Employers play an important role in the administration of the pension plan. Employer workshops focus on timely information to help employers become more knowledgeable about the Plan and their administrative role.

The Plan's administrator, Alberta Pensions Services Corporation (APS) provides best practice workshops in the spring and fall each year.

Workshops are held throughout the year and are designed to increase awareness of employers' responsibilities. The workshops are designed to provide a basic understanding of an employer's administrative responsibilities and would be of interest to anyone administering the Plan and submitting data to APS. Workshops run for the full day, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

If you have any questions, or items that you hope to see addressed at the workshop, please feel free to send them in advance to Employer Education (employereducation@apsc.ca), and every effort will be made to provide the answers at the workshop.

There is no cost to attend. Register for the sessions the Employer Portal.

Light refreshments and snacks will be provided.
