Stakeholder Committee

The SFPP Stakeholder Committee was formed in January 2011 to study ways to keep the SFPP secure and affordable well into the future. This committee's mandate is to understand the cost drivers of the pension plan and to find the right balance of sustainable pension benefits and affordable contribution rates.

The Committee includes representatives from employers and associations. Special Forces Pension Board members attend meetings on an as-needed basis, as do representatives from Alberta Finance.
